Our trained advisers are available to give support, advice and guidance throughout the process of both selecting and implementing a solution that is most appropriate to your needs.

DEBT SOLUTION OPTIONS:

Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) Ideal for debts over £15,000 Write off up to 75% of your debt Government created scheme (as part of insolvency act)

Debt Management Plan (DMP)Ideal for debts between £5,000 and £15,000 Relatively easy to set up but not very stable (easily terminated) You may continue to be charged fees and interest by creditors

BankruptcyWrite off up to 95% of your debt Your credit rating will be badly affected You will lose any valuable assets like a house or car   

Need a knew bank account? Where one of the above options is appropriate it may be necessary for you to open a new bank account with a non-creditor bank. We will help you to open an account with a Maestro Card to facilitate receiving your wages, making standing order payments, accessing cash through cash dispensers, payment of bills etc

Consolidation Loan or Re-Mortgage? Ideal for debts under £20,000 where you have home equity Release equity in your home to pay back secured and non secured loans

Once the most appropriate solution for your problem has been agreed, UK Debt Helpline will help you put the solution in place.

An UK Debt Helpline Counsellor will advise you on any initial actions that need to be taken. These might include the following:

Completing a comprehensive and accurate Statement of Affairs Gathering together any appropriate paperwork Opening a new personal bank account if required Writing to your creditors to explain to them what is happening.
